Kids Have a Point Website Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
This Kids Have a Point Website Privacy Policy explains how Room for Tomorrow, Inc. (“Room for Tomorrow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which operates the Website, collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the Kids Have a Point website at https://kidshaveapoint.com (the “Website”) and related website communications. Kids Have a Point is a Room for Tomorrow podcast featuring conversations with children, including young children about age 5 and older, about what they think. The Website is designed for parents and families, and children may listen with a parent. The Website and podcast are offered for U.S. use only. This Privacy Policy applies to the Website and related Website communications, but not to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, any other third-party platform, or any separate Room for Tomorrow product.
Kids Have a Point is operated by Room for Tomorrow, Inc. This policy applies only to the Kids Have a Point website. Room for Tomorrow’s other websites and products have their own policies, and the Room for Tomorrow corporate website is governed by its own Privacy Policy.
I. WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?
When we use the term “personal information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean data or information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular natural person or household, or that constitutes “personal data,” “personal information,” or “personally identifiable information” under applicable law.
II. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
We collect limited personal information through the Website and related communications. We do not require an account to visit the Website or listen to an episode. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Website.
Information collected through guest recording, participation, consent, or production workflows is governed by the separate Kids Have a Point Privacy & Data Retention Notice and Parent/Guardian Consent and Minor Media Release, not this Website Privacy Policy.
Information You Provide
We may collect the following limited categories of personal information when you provide them through the Website or by email:
- Parent or Guardian Interest Information. If an adult uses the “Be on the Show” sign-up form to express interest in having their child appear on the podcast, we collect only the adult’s name and email address. The form is for parents or legal guardians age 18 or older and requires an adult attestation. Please do not include any information about your child, such as the child’s name, age, school, address, photos, recordings, precise location, health information, or other sensitive information, in the form. We use this information only to contact the adult about potential participation. All further steps, including any collection of information about the child, recordings, and formal consents, take place outside the Website and are handled separately under the Parent/Guardian Consent and Minor Media Release and the Kids Have a Point Privacy & Data Retention Notice.
- Updates Subscription Information. Parents and other adult visitors may subscribe to receive updates from Room for Tomorrow through a subscription form that is separate from the “Be on the Show” sign-up form. We collect the subscriber’s email address and any optional name or preferences submitted through this opt-in form. Subscriptions are for adults age 18 or older, and every update will include a clear one-click unsubscribe link. Signing up for updates does not express interest in podcast participation, and submitting the “Be on the Show” form does not subscribe you to updates.
- Correspondence and Requests. We may collect your name, email address and the contents of messages you send to us, including privacy, takedown, withdrawal, safety, media, or general inquiries. Please do not send a child’s last name, school, address, photos, recordings or other unnecessary sensitive information unless specifically requested.
- Guest Participation Information. If a child participates in the podcast, we may collect information from the parent or legal guardian and child as described in the Kids Have a Point Privacy & Data Retention Notice and Parent/Guardian Consent and Minor Media Release, including consent choices, participation communications, recordings, transcripts, production notes, and publication selections.
- Technical and Cookie Information. When you visit the Website, our website host and operational providers may automatically receive limited technical information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages or files requested, referring URL, and date and time of a request. With your consent, analytics and marketing cookies may also collect information about how you interact with the Website and our marketing. We use this information for security, reliability, measurement, and internal operations, and as described in “Cookies and Similar Technologies” below.
- Podcast Platform and Link Information. The Website does not embed podcast players. It links to Kids Have a Point on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. If you click a link to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or another third-party service, you will leave the Website, and that service may collect information under its own privacy policy. See “Published Episodes and Platform Privacy” below.
- Information from Service Providers. Our website host, podcast host, form provider, email provider, security provider, analytics provider, or marketing provider may process information on our behalf to provide the Website and related communications.
- Please do not submit personal information about a child through the Website. The “Be on the Show” sign-up form collects only the parent’s or guardian’s name and email address. We do not provide child accounts, child-facing comments, chat, uploads, contests, or forms.
Information from Third Parties
